About this position

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible in driving end-to-end purchasing and supply resilience by optimizing supply chains with direct material suppliers, tier-n vendors, and logistics providers. 

What you'll do

  • Optimize (together with SC) the end-to-end value chain demand-to-supply to improve supplier performance level with proactive supplier engagements, supplier quality level & Raws / Packs inventory & consignment stock.
  • Ensure supply continuity & manage all critical shortages & FM’s avoiding out of stocks & impact on NES.
  • Supports the sourcing categories in bringing contractual agreements to a higher level of maturity and standardization with regards to risk mitigation, operational performance and supply chain optimization (MOQ, Incoterm, Lead Time).
  • Ensure consistent global documentation & reporting on supply disruptions & defined supply resilience KPIs in the region.
  • Enhance usage of tool & BI dashboard on supplier performance (supplier evals, OTIF), supply disruption (FM Bot, CRISP) and proactive risk mitigation & Tier-1 data (DDF).
  • Responsible for local supplier scouting with close collaboration with the sourcing teams to increase the sourcing flexibility.

What makes you a good fit

  • Degree in preferably Supply Chain or Business.
  • 3+ years in sourcing and/or supply chain background beneficial.
  • Industry experience in Manufacturing, chemical or similar.
  • Ability to quickly gain Cross-category knowledge in different direct materials- & logistics sourcing categories.
  • High level of digital skills to drive creative solutions embedded in digital framework.
  • Strong communication skills.
