New Schwarzkopf got2b products and Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour sprays were launched in New Zealand in May, with key media and social influencers attending the launch events. The events were covered on social media, extending digital awareness of the new products.
As part of the got2b brand, the hairspray and dry shampoo products were launched in New Zealand. These include the 2 Sexy Volumizing Hairspray, Guardian Angel Blow Dry Spray, Beach Trippin’ Sea Salt Spray, and the Fresh it Up Dry Shampoo in three options: original, dark brown and volume.
At the launch party, stylists helped guests style their hair using Schwarzkopf got2b products. Additionally, Henkel Beauty Care has partnered with Miss FQ, a print and digital publication providing millennials with updates on the latest fashion and beauty trends, to run a #MEbyME competition in July. The public is invited to upload a picture of how they express their unique hairstyle on Instagram with the hashtag #MEbyME for a chance to win a Schwarzkopf got2b prize pack and travel voucher. This collaboration will strengthen Schwarzkopf got2b’s digital presence.
Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour is a leading semi-permanent hair colour brand in New Zealand. Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour sprays has expanded its range with the new 1-wash spray which colours both light and dark coloured hair. Six colours of the spray have been launched in New Zealand: blue twist, fiery red, purple kiss, candy pink, silver splash, and golden crush.
At the launch event, Henkel Beauty Care collaborated with Flox, one of New Zealand’s recognised aerosol and stencil artist, to guide guests in creating stencil art pieces using the range of colours from the Schwarzkopf LIVE colour sprays. Stylists also helped guests who were interested in trying the new Live Colour sprays on their hair.
The product launches are supported with display bins and hangsell display units in stores. Henkel Beauty Care will also collaborate with festival organisers to provide hair styling or colouring services for concert goers to drive awareness of the new products.
